Dow Chemical CEO Receives STEM Leadership Award

Andrew Liveris, CEO and chairman of Dow Chemical Co.—a global developer and manufacturer of chemical, plastic, and agricultural products and services—has been named the recipient of U.S. News & World Report’s Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Leadership Hall of Fame Award.

Liveris was honored for his leadership in furthering STEM education, including developing a STEM ambassador volunteer program for Dow Chemical employees as part of the company’s sustainability goals. Liveris will receive the award at the magazine’s STEM Solutions National Leadership Conference, which takes place May 24-26, in San Diego, CA.
