Rams Custodian Scores Super Bowl Tickets
Wide receiver recognizes day porter as important member of the team
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Brandin Cooks recognizes there are many people involved in creating a winning NFL team in addition to the players themselves. In appreciation, Cooks has given the team’s locker room custodian, Alfonso Garcia, two tickets to the Super Bowl to watch the Rams challenge the New England Patriots on Sunday in Atlanta, GA, USA Today reports.
“[Alfonso] keeps our locker room in tip-top shape,” Cooks said. “I just felt like it would be special for him to see that he is a part of this success as well, and I want him to be able to be at the Super Bowl with his son to enjoy that.”
In addition to the game tickets, Cooks has made sure Garcia and his son, Josh, will receive all travel expenses including airfare and a hotel stay. It’s all part of recognizing the important role custodians play in society and giving them the recognition they deserve.
