Global Warming Contributes to Revenue Loss

A report by the Breakthrough National Center for Climate Restoration in Australia is calling on businesses to take swift action to prevent detrimental outcomes to human civilization due to climate change.

An article from CNN said the Melbourne-based organization is not the first to warn of dire consequences for the planet and its people. Other recent reports mentioned in the article talk about the economic impact of global warming, including mass revenue loss for the manufacturing and service industries—both verticals that greatly contribute to the global cleaning industry.

Some organizations like Google and college universities are already taking the lead on curbing their global footprint by implementing zero-waste and composting efforts. In fact, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has salvaged more than 200 tons of waste headed for the landfill since 2009.
