Your Guide to IEHA’s Conference and Convention—Las Vegas

Colleagues, can you believe it is almost that time again? IEHA’s 53rd Annual Conference and Convention, held in conjunction with the world-famous ISSA Show North America, is just around the corner— November 15–23 in Las Vegas.

IEHA will welcome attendees on Sunday, November 17 at its headquarters: Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino on the famed Las Vegas Strip, across from Caesar’s Palace and the Paris Hotel. The resort sits on 44 acres and is a short walk to many other hotels and attractions.

Registration Tips

Before you check out the convention lineup, visit www.ieha.org for information regarding online registration and special member packages. By booking your hotel room directly through IEHA, you will receive special pricing and guarantee a place at the center of IEHA’s activities. Purchasing a Complete Convention Package inside the IEHA room block will also make travel easier, as it includes a bus pass to and from the Las Vegas Convention Center for one of the biggest trade shows in the cleaning industry, which is sponsored by IEHA’s parent company, ISSA. The week will be filled with education, networking opportunities, and yes, IEHA fun!

Don’t miss the opportunity to make connections and network with other IEHA members while you participate in educational workshops and events that can advance your career and improve your skills. Here is a day-by-day guide of what you can expect from this year’s convention:

Friday, November 15 to Sunday, November 17

MESCE/MESRE Boot Camp

Before the educational activities kick off on Monday, members of IEHA who hold either CESE or RESE designations may take part in a three-day boot camp November 15–17 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Bally’s Hotel. The IEHA’s Master’s designation is IEHA’s highest professional designation, held by only 2% of members. In order to complete the course, registrants will present individual or group projects.

Successful participants will mentor new IEHA members and write articles for publication. This course requires separate registration and has an additional cost. Please visit www.ieha.org or call 847-982-3471 for more information and to learn about any additional requirements for this course.

IEHA convention registration will open at Bally’s Hotel from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., setting off the ultimate star treatment. We will greet our attendees at the Welcome Reception in the Skyview Room, on the 26th floor of the Resort Tower, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
