Leading the Way to Consistently Cleaner Carpets

R. E. Whittaker Co.

Everyone loves the look of a beautifully clean carpet. Whether you’re a facility manager or building service contractor, the Whittaker Smart Care® system has been globally proven for over 30 years to deliver consistently cleaner carpets at a consistently lower cost.

WhittakerWhittaker revolutionized interim carpet cleaning by innovating low moisture encapsulation cleaning technology, and the benefits were immediately recognized. Customers found that low moisture encapsulation technology was so efficient they could clean carpets more frequently—achieving consistently cleaner carpet appearance—at a lower cost than hot water extraction. And because carpets were kept clean (not aggressively restored), the life cycle of carpet was extended, creating even greater value.

Whittaker’s Smart Care® machines and Crystal® Chemistry are Green Seal certified, WoolSafe® approved, and have The Carpet and Rug Institute’s (CRI) Seal of Approval. In 2014, Whittaker again lead the industry as the first interim carpet cleaning system to earn the CRI seal of approval, and the only system CRI certified for all carpet types.

WhittakerSmart Care® Machines

No matter what kind of facility you clean, Whittaker offers a Smart Care® machine to meet your needs. All our machines reflect the cutting-edge engineering you’d expect from an industry innovator, and are designed and built for long-term commercial use.

The original Smart Care® TWIN machine has long been the industry standard for low moisture encapsulation cleaning. With its smaller footprint it is ideally suited to easily maneuver around desks, cubicles and congested areas, ensuring that both your carpet and your furnishings stay looking great.

Our latest innovation, the Smart Care TRIO, provides a cost-efficient solution for customers who need to clean large square footage quickly. The TRIO’s triple brush system provides more mechanical action for heavily-soiled and high-traffic areas, and saves time and money by covering large areas 50% faster.

All of our Smart Care® machines are easy to use, and offer minimal disruption so daytime cleaning is possible. And no matter which machine you use, you will enjoy increased cleaning efficiency with high production rates of 2,500-10,000 square feet per hour.

Crystal® Chemistry

Whittaker’s premium Crystal® Chemistry is the highest quality chemistry in the industry, so your carpets look Crystal® clear and clean. We blend the highest concentration of surfactant available with premium polymers to ensure that no sticky, cloudy residues are left behind. And Crystal® chemistry uses green formulations with no added fragrances, so it’s not offensive to use when your facility is occupied.

Whittaker

Since the introduction of Crystal Dry® in the 1980s, Whittaker has developed a full line of Crystal® chemistry formulas to meet every carpet cleaning need. Crystal® Quick Restore, our newest innovation, is the only low moisture encapsulation chemistry to deliver the same results as hot water extraction while reducing cleaning time by 87%, and reducing cleaning costs by 58%. No matter what your cleaning need, the Whittaker family of chemistry is the Crystal® clear solution.
