A New Partnership With IEHA

Happy New Year! 2018 is definitely starting off with a bang for the CMM team. Coming off the heels of our website relaunch, we are already working on several new multimedia projects to roll out for our audience in the coming months and also have a new partner to introduce to our readers.

Effective with this issue, CMM is the official publication for IEHA, a division of ISSA. This means all IEHA members will become a part of the CMM community, receiving all the benefits that our current subscribers receive: monthly print editions, the CMM Daily News, invitations to webcasts, and more.

The entire CMM audience will also benefit from this partnership. In each edition of the magazine, readers will receive industry insight and tips from IEHA members—facility professionals who are the best in class at what they do. This month’s article, written by IEHA member and environmental services professional Gregory Gardner, focuses on tips for maintaining your carpet’s prestige over time (see page 26).

While IEHA members will cover a variety of topics across both our website and print publication, in the coming months readers can expect to enjoy a series of how-to articles focusing on tasks, responsibilities, and challenges that facility managers and custodians face across many different types of facilities. One month, we may discuss safety issues faced by hotel housekeepers; another month, we may cover special cleaning considerations for those working in nursing homes or mental health facilities.

If you would like more information about IEHA and the benefits it can provide, please contact IEHA Executive Director Michael Patterson at [email protected].

2018 promises to be an exciting year, and the entire CMM team looks forward to bringing you a new portfolio of specially tailored facility management content to help assure it is one of your most successful years to date.
