COEUR D'ALENE, ID — In order to improve efficiency, JanSan manufacturer U.S. Products has taken several steps to streamline and standardize its United States operations, according to a press release posted on the ISSA News website.
The steps include reducing employee set-up times, making tools and materials readily available, standardizing parts and components, and eliminating unnecessary handling and assembly-line activities, the release stated.
The leaner manufacturing process helped U.S. Products develop its new Advantage Series of extractors and hard-surface cleaning machines, the release noted.
