High humidity is enough to create mold problems
Tuesday, August 12, 2003
KENNEBEC, ME — As residents mistake sweating toilet fixtures for leakers, others are finding that mold is growing in Maine homes simply due to prolonged high humidity this season, the Kennebec Journal reported Tuesday.

ServiceMaster of Kennebec County (Augusta, ME) manager Linda Holbrook advised Journal readers to call a professional remediator, noting that purchasing a dehumidifier would be appropriate.
