NEW ORLEANS, LA — Jani-King of New Orleans recently signed a contract with the Algiers Charter Schools Association to provide a multitude of services within their system, according to a press release.

In all, there are nine schools that equal more than 750,000 square feet including schools, administrative buildings and athletic facilities, the release noted.

For the Gulf Coast region, the account has the potential to become a springboard for other school accounts throughout the area, the release stated.

"All eyes are on the performance of the franchisees and support staff in New Orleans," said JJ O'Neil, regional director for Jani-King of New Orleans.

"There are some long standing deficiencies with other companies that service school facilities throughout New Orleans, so the other district officials are very interested in evaluating Jani-King's success with the Algiers charter schools," O'Neil added.
