Kimberly-Clark spreads holiday cheer
Thursday, December 17, 2009
TULSA, OK — With a little help from the Kimberly-Clark Corporation, students at Cooper Elementary School received an early visit from Santa Claus, according to KOTV-TV.

Jolly old Saint Nicholas made a surprise visit during yesterday's all-school sing-along, and when students returned to their classrooms, a gift was waiting for each of them, the story stated.

In the holiday spirit of giving, Kimberly-Clark employees donated the more than 700 gifts for students and staff, the story noted.

Cooper Elementary School Principal Barbara Penrose said: "You look around and you see the — not just the employees of Kimberly-Clark and the tears in their eyes, but also the staff watching their kids open up presents — joy, utter joy."

The Kimberly-Clark Corporation also adopted the families of two students who died earlier this year from the H1N1 influenza A (swine flu) virus and gave them "a little something extra" to brighten their holiday, the story added.
