TUCSON, AZ — FLIR Systems Inc. recently announced the delivery of its 100,000^th commercial-use infrared camera that was sold by Professional Equipment Inc. to Bob Childs, owner of Bob the Inspector Inc., according to a press release.

To commemorate the milestone, Childs and Professional Equipment were honored at an awards ceremony and press conference today at 12 p.m. in the Courtyard Royale Hall at the Tucson Radisson Suites Hotel, the release stated.

According to the release, in addition to receiving the 100,000^th infrared camera award, Childs will also receive his FLIR BCAM SD infrared camera, a $3,450 value, compliments of FLIR Systems.

In addition to serving as a key tool in home inspection and building diagnostics, FLIR's commercial infrared cameras have been used around the world by professionals in a variety of applications ranging from law enforcement, industrial plant maintenance, electrical and heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) diagnostics, as well as research and development, the release added.
