NEW HAVEN, CT — Deirdre Imus' planned book tour to promote "Green This! Volume 1: Greening Your Cleaning" was interrupted by the firestorm three weeks ago over her husband Don's controversial "nappy-headed hos" comments, but is set to resume, according to the New Haven Register.

Imus, accompanied by her husband, will appear at Scranton Memorial Library in Madison, CT, on May 9, the story stated.

Because of limited seating, attendees must have purchased the book and acquired a $2 ticket (to benefit the library) from the R.J. Julia bookstore, the story noted.

The purchase requirement is to ensure that people who attend are truly interested in the green cleaning book, and not just trying to get a peek at the former radio shock jock, the story added.
