Dr. Ruth Carrico, assistant professor in the Department of Health Promotion and Behavioral Sciences for the University of Louisville, speaks about what environmental service directors and other custodial professionals should know to be prepared to battle Clostridium difficle (C. diff) in health care settings.

Carrico, a member of the Board of Directors for the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC), is involved in training and educating patients, health care workers and special populations through research involving infection prevention.
