I've seen some pretty expensive pricing for diamond polishing floors.  Recently, I have been reading up on the HTC Twister diamond floor pads.  Pricing wise, they are a much cheaper alternative.  Does anyone have any opinions on them?  Are they easy enough to use?  Any opinions would be appreciated.  Thanks.

HTC Twister pads are  not Diamond polishing pads that are used by professional.

Do not be confused by the NAME!!!!!

Twister pads are JUST maintenance pads nothing else . it shines floors BUT they have no restoration capacity , will not remove scratches, distortions or  lippage.

If you want to get a perfect finish then use diamond abrasive pads or try 3M
or Klindex supershine pads

This month's ICS magazine has an article on stone polishing using diamond encrusted pads.

I'm not familar with the specific brand you are asking about, but you are right.... these pads aren't cheap.

However, they are worth it.  The price to use these pads compared to crystallizing is a much better (and cost effective) alternative....if they will work in your specific application.

I used them for a year.  They do bring the floor to a nice luster, this on a 37 year old floor.  They don't restore any damged areas, it took a lot longer and a lot more pads then I was told to get the floor looking good.  My floor has heavy traffic and requires weekly burnishing to keep the look.  This year I am trying a diferent system.  It does restore a lot of the damaged areas, but I am not getting the luster I got from the Twister so I may go back to it.

HTC Twister pads are the original diamond polishing pads and was developed by HTC. Remember also that the Twister pads comes in different versions depending on what yoor needs are, from the green daily cleaning pad to the black for heavy duty cleaning. By using the correct Twister pads you can restore/upgrade a damaged floor.
