Air Movers Offer Added Protection For Large Facilities

Moisture is a floor’s worst enemy. In the event of a flood or water-heavy cleaning project, there is little time to dry out the flooring before warping, discoloration or structural damage can occur. Carpet cleaners and restoration contractors have long been using commercial air movers to expedite drying and prevent permanent damage to flooring. Large facilities like schools, universities and business campuses could benefit from having a commercial air mover on-site in the event of an emergency.

Floods and leaks happen. Be it a backed-up sink, a broken pipe or an overflowing washer, it is important for every facility to be prepared for the worst. A seemingly small amount of moisture can end up causing damage that depletes the visual appeal and resale value of the building. When a quick response time can mean the difference between minor cleanup or major restoration, it pays to have a wet/dry vacuum and an air mover on the premises.

An air mover that has a 0.4-horsepower motor and high-speed, 2,200 cubic feet per minute (CFM) of airflow can quickly dry flooring, padding and sub-floors, potentially saving thousands in renovations. A telescoping handle and wheels allow for easy transport and quick response.

Look for an air mover with multiple drying speeds and three drying positions at zero, 45, and 90 degrees for maximum flexibility to fit any air circulation requirement.
