Hospital cleaners, put away your spray bottles. Researchers from the Netherlands found that hydrogen peroxide wipes are the most efficient disinfectant in cleaning C. diff from surfaces, MD Magazine reports. The researchers tested the efficacy of four sporicidal disinfectants against the spore-forming bacteria, including several mixes of active ingredients. They not only found that hydrogen peroxide worked the best, but that the wipes performed better than the hydrogen peroxide spray.
