EVERGREEN, WA — Evergreen High School janitor and track coach Tyrone Curry donated $40,000 dollars to install a track at the school, according to the United Press International.
After winning $3.4 million in the lottery about five years ago, Curry knew he wanted to donate some of it to the school to build a better track, the article reported.
"Ten years ago, I said if I win some money, I''m going to put a track here," he told KING-TV in Seattle.
Curry donated the money earlier this month, the article stated.
