Paul Barrett Named President of LagasseSweet
DEERFIELD, Ill. – United Stationers announced today that Paul Barrett has been named president, LagasseSweet, reporting to Steve Schultz, group president, Lagasse and ORS Nasco. Barrett previously held the position of vice president of sales for LagasseSweet.
“Paul has demonstrated outstanding leadership skills during his tenure with the company, and has made significant contributions to today’s successful business strategies,” said Schultz. “His appointment to president is a testament to his past successes, and we look forward to the continued growth of LagasseSweet under his leadership.”
Prior to joining LagasseSweet in 2007, Barrett’s professional experience included a diverse background in sales, marketing and general management, with executive leadership roles at Socrates Media and Acco Brands. He holds an MBA from the University of Northern Colorado and a BA in business administration from Eastern Michigan University.
Barrett and his wife and two sons reside in Lake Forest, Illinois.
