NORCROSS, GA — Unisource Worldwide Inc. will feature Integrated Cleaning and Measurement (ICM)™ [ICM is a registered trademark of IEHA] solutions at the 2012 Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) Conference June 4-6, 2012, according to a press release.

Attendees at the 39th Annual APIC Conference are encouraged to visit Unisource Booth 042 to learn how partnering with Unisource can help medical facilities reduce healthcare-acquired infections (HAIs), the release stated.

According to the release, learning how to ensure that a medical facility has appropriate infection prevention policies and procedures in place and the supplies to allow healthcare personnel to provide safe care will be a top priority for conference attendees.

"APIC 2012 is a great opportunity to network with customers and industry leaders, exchange experiences and learn best practices," said Frank Petsock, vice president of facility — national accounts for Unisource.

"We will be on hand to share how Unisource''s range of cleaning and disinfectant products, procedures and cleaning measurement tools can bring an immediate and positive impact to a healthcare facility''s ability to keep patients healthy and reduce the service opportunity costs associated with closed rooms or entire wards due to Clostridium difficile (C. diff) or methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) outbreaks," Petsock added.

Unisource Healthcare Vertical Sales Managers JoAnn Lemay and Rob Wullenwaber and Garrett Gerst, senior marketing manager of facility supplies, will also be in attendance and available to speak with conference attendees, the release noted.
