The company, which is accused of discharging too much oil and grease in its facility''s wastewater, had previously plead guilty of violating polution standards, the story stated.
U.S. Attorney Nicholas Klinefeldt says G&K Services was fined $450,000 because its negligence allowed the discharge to occur, the story noted.
On top of the hefty fine, G&K Services was ordered to ensure its Pleasant Hill laundry facility complies with all pollution rules moving forward, the story added.
