FAIRBANKS, AK — Two more University of Alaska Fairbanks janitors were caught by security cameras stealing from the institution last month, according to the Daily News-Miner.
The janitors allegedly made off with electronics, bottles of water, granola bars and Mountain Dew drinks from the International Arctic Research Center, the article stated.
This is the second time in a year that university janitors have been captured by surveillance cameras while allegedly stealing from the university, the article noted.
According to the article, last year, a theft investigation uncovered video evidence of a much larger theft: A janitor was charged with stealing more than $3,000 from the university''s Administrative Services Building.
