If you painted on top of the seal, note that sealer #985 is sold as a clear top-coat, meaning that it is what covers the paint, not the other way around. Paint peeling off an undercoat of seal means poor adhesion. The paint should have been applied first. If the seal was correctly used as a top-coat, there are several things that may have gone wrong. My best guess would be that the problem occurred because the finish was not truly dry and fully cured before you moved back onto it. The Behr website recommends under the heading Dry Time, “Dries to touch in 1 hour. Longer dry time required in cooler temperatures and in higher humidity.
