Tuesday''s Ask the Experts question from a cleaning professional on the International Custodial Advisors Network (ICAN) "Ask the Experts" page: I am considering purchasing a portable extractor. I would like to know which is more important, heat or waterlift?
The answer:
Elevated heat enhances soil removal. Higher waterlift improves recovery rates, which reduces drying times. Each is a different part of the cleaning formula. Heat is critical in cleaning food service areas and carpet with heavy grease.
