Tuesday''s Ask the Experts question from a cleaning professional on the International Custodial Advisors Network (ICAN) "Ask the Experts" page: What are the major cleaning issues in a Class A commercial building that includes a restaurant? How do I handle these special needs effectively?
The answer
A Class A building commands top rents and the renters expect top-notch cleaning. They want a clean building with no anxiety about whether or not it will be so. You need experienced, reliable people, and sufficient time and money in the contract to provide the expected.
Restaurant cleaning is restaurant cleaning. Again, the expectation is to have a consistently clean facility. Depending on the hours during which it is open, restaurants can be a challenge. You may need people to be there very early in the morning or very late at night. Finding folks who are willing to work those odd hours is always one of the problems. Advertise... — Lynn E.
