QUINCY, MA — Intellectually-challenged triplets Tom, Alex and George Hines have found success as certified professional custodians through a job placement program at North Quincy High School, according to the Patriot Ledger.

According to the story, the triplets, 19 years in age, were recently certified to work as janitors through the nonprofit organization Work Inc., allowing them to work in Boston federal buildings.

Their instructor, Michael Dowd, said: "These are jobs with dignity, benefits and great working conditions. Most of our kids come to school and they go home, and they never really venture out in the community on their own. So they get to do it while they’re here in school. These are the greatest guys to work with."

The Hines'' have three more years in the program until graduation, allowing them to take advantage of additional job placement opportunities that may not be available through the state, the story added.
