OTTAWA — Twenty-four students and three adults visiting Ottawa fell ill with what public health officials are saying looks like a norovirus outbreak, according to the Edmonton Journal.
Paramedics were called Friday morning to a Quality Hotel after receiving reports about mass nausea, vomiting and diarrhea among students, the article stated.
According to the article, an outbreak management team was dispatched by Ottawa Public Health.
Students and adults were treated for dehydration at the hotel, the article noted.
