WASHINGTON — Sustainable Industries magazine recently published their annual list of the top 10 green building products of the year, according to Sustainable Industries.
The products were selected based on environmental performance, market impact, innovation, design aesthetic, value and compatibility with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), the story stated.
The best products for 2009 include: The Acadia Combined Heating and Cooling System by Hallowell International LLC; ec-H20 technology from the Tennant Company; the InSpire Wall from ATAS International Inc.; EEBS Structural Systems by Kama Energy Efficient Building Systems Inc.; and Plyboo Pure Bamboo Plywood from Smith & Fong Company, the story noted.
The rest of the best green building products of 2009 are: The RainTube from Rain Technologies Inc.; the Separett Villa from Ecovita; Seiours Windows from Serious Materials Inc.; the Solatube Daylight System by Solatube International Inc.; and Sustainable Lighting from Eleek Inc., the story added.
