Sepulveda Center in West Los Angeles Named Outstanding Building of the Year

KBS-owned Class A office tower recipient of TOBY award

LOS ANGELES – KBS Realty Advisors, one of the nation’s leading commercial real estate investment advisors, announced that its Class A Sepulveda Center office tower in West Los Angeles has received The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Awards in the 100,000-square-foot to 249,999-square-foot category for the greater Los Angeles market.

The TOBY Awards is hosted annually by the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and is considered one of the most prestigious honors in the commercial real estate industry. Properties are judged based on various characteristics, including management practices, tenant relations and operational efficiency.

Sepulveda Center is 178,157-square-foot multi-tenant tower that is owned and operated by KBS on behalf of a separate account. Purchased in 2006, the property positioned itself in the market as a best-in-class level of service and state-of-the-art facility. Located immediately adjacent to the I-405 in the Sepulveda Corridor submarket of West Los Angeles, this polished landmark building is 93 percent occupied.

“We are very pleased with this industry recognition,” said Brent Carroll, KBS SVP and asset manager. “We have a very dedicated team who are committed to providing building tenants with exceptional service at one of the most sought-after office locations in West Los Angeles.”
