ATLANTA — Three janitorial services and supply companies have merged to create a new entity that will meet the needs of government, small business and Fortune 500 clients with a range of critical environment janitorial cleaning, sustainable MRO, green cleaning and post-construction cleaning "final clean" services that help facilities comply with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) requirements, according to a press release.

The new company, Preferred Service Group LLC (PSG), combines the supply chain and client management expertise of Facility Supply Group (FSG) with the grassroots, janitorial services operational expertise of Kearny, New Jersey-based Preferred Building Services Inc. and Kenilworth, New Jersey-based Eastern Janitorial Services, the release stated.

According to the release, while all three will continue to operate as stand-alone companies, virtually all FSG clients will now be serviced by PSG.

"From green janitorial services and MRO supplies to an array of other specialty services, PSG will offer everything businesses and institutional facilities need to keep their operations running smoothly, while simplifying and streamlining the procurement process and complying with environmental sustainability initiatives," said John W. Fowler, chief executive officer (CEO) and president of PSG; and chief executive officer (CEO) and chairman of FSG.
