DES MOINES, IA — Two ladies who call themselves the EcoMaids are gaining popularity in their community for their environmentally friendly cleaning service, according to WHO-TV.
Lora Fraracci and Jeri Kemple, who say they can make your home or business shine naturally, use only Green Seal certified products because they are safer for people and pets as they don''t release chemicals that can contribute to respiratory issues, skin irritation and other health issues, the story stated.
Fraracci said: "[We use] microfiber and we color code them. One color is for the bathroom, so we''re not cross contaminating, and things like that. Kitchens get another color."
By utilizing microfiber instead of paper towels and bagless vacuums, the EcoMaids are reducing their carbon footprint and cutting their overhead costs, the story noted.
The EcoMaids launder their color-coded microfiber cloths and mops in high-efficiency washing machines to further reduce the environmental strain of excess water usage, the story added.
According to Kemple, natural cleaning products work just as well as conventional cleaners and their green cleaning service is priced competitively with other professional cleaning services in the area.
