VISTA, CA — Higher water costs, an increase in water-conserving legislation and a water shortages are among the "Ten Water Predictions for 2010" of Klaus Reichardt, founder and manager of Waterless Company Inc., according to a press release.
According to the release, Waterless Company is a manufacturer of waterless urinals and other water conservation products and Reichardt has been involved with water conservation for nearly 20 years.
"Many of us do not realize that water is becoming the single most critical environmental issue around the world," says Reichardt. "And it will likely become an even greater concern in years to come."
Reichardt also believes that "point-of-use" water treatment programs allowing people to safely treat untreated water for household and business use will spread in developing countries, the release added.
