EAST SUSSEX, UK – According to a recent Literature Review, entitled "Control of the Environment," steam cleaning is very effective, particularly for periodic deep cleaning of hospital environments, according to Medical News Today.
According to recent test results, complete disinfection of test surfaces, which had methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Acinetobacter and Clostridium difficile (C. diff) spores prior to cleaning, was achieved.
Another study was performed to assess the potential aerosolisation of microorganisms; however, the result showed that there was no evidence of dispersion of viable organisms, added the article.
Over the years, end-users who employ steam cleaning have enjoyed the chemical-free cleaning experience with minimal lingering odors or residue.
