MEDFORD, MA — Medford High School (MHS) students voiced their concerns over the poor maintenance of the school, according to The Medford Transcript.

Seniors and Advisory Council members Charlotte Kelly and Rochelle Lewis spoke out about the lack of maintenance and safety of light fixtures, some of which, they say, are uncovered and not affixed to the ceiling with safety springs, the article stated.

"A lot of times, they''ll hang down. They won''t necessarily fall down, but you don''t want something to happen," said Lewis.

According to the article, the pair also noted several problems with MHS bathrooms as well, including broken sinks, dysfunctional stalls and missing mirrors along with a lack of doors and locks for some stalls.
