SUDBURY, ON — The contractor hired to sweep the streets of Sudbury will remain, despite protests from city councilors, according to the Sudbury Northern Life.
A number of complaints had been made regarding dust storms created during cleaning and the length of time it took to complete the contract, the article stated.
According to the article, a number of council members also expressed concern over the "poor quality" of work the DeAngelo Brothers Corporation was giving the city.
The contractor supposedly arrived in the city with too little equipment, requiring the city to step in and assist in the completion of work, the article noted.
