SteamMaster recognizes that not every client is tech-savvy, but sees the program as a feature to be used in conjunction with email, print advertising and radio. “We are rolling out several unique strategies and innovative programs to make the most of SMS marketing,” says Manickam. “We’ve introduced it on our printed materials, such as our newsletter, and will include a radio campaign.”

At SteamMaster’s recent 30^th Anniversary Party, employees wore specially designed T-shirts to launch this program. Each shirt has a service message, such as “Local Experts” printed on it with the unique keyword. The technicians will wear the T-shirts on the job, and bumper stickers have been printed and will be placed on SteamMaster’s fleet of trucks. “I already have one on my car for marketing,” says Manickam.
