ST. LOUIS, MO — Cleaning equipment from St. Louis is flooding into Nashville to help with a massive cleanup operation. Companies are sending workers to help clean, dehumidify and disinfect, according to KTVI-TV
Woodard Cleaning & Restoration keeps two semis loaded with supplies just in case of a disaster. The company has crews in Nasvhille but is prepared for any flooding St. Louis might see this spring, the story stated.
"We have two large trailers that are dedicated just for large catastrophic events such as this one we don''t even use that equipment here in St. Louis it''s just on wheels and ready to go whenever we need to," said Scott Dieckgraefe, marketing executive for Woodard Cleaning & Restoration.
"The biggest thing is sending people out of town and then having something happen in your back yard and not being able to cover it," Kevin Finn of Steamatic of St. Louis
Finn helped put the emergency plan in place for his company and believes without it his company could suffer a disaster if major flooding hit two cities at once, the story added.
