CHICAGO — One goal of a green floor care program is to minimize the number of floor refinishing cycles, according to a press release.
One way to do this is to increase spray buffing frequencies, which, according to Daniel Frimml, a technical service representative with Tornado Industries, can also help restore a floor''s luster, the article stated.
"The process involves misting small amounts of finish, typically diluted with water, to the floor and then polishing with a standard, low revolution per minute (RPM) buffer with buffing pad attached," said Frimml.
To be safe and effective, spray buffing must be performed properly, starting with a quality floor machine, preferably one with reduced torque and vibration, the article noted.
