Teena Shouse is Awarded IFMA Chairman Citation for Outstanding Accomplishments
Fairfax, VA – Teena Shouse, CFM has recently been awarded an IFMA Chairman Citation on behalf of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA).Ms. Shouse was noted by IFMA’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Tom Mitchell, Jr., CFM, CFMJ, for her contribution in the advancement of the Balanced Scorecard Methodology and practice into IFMA’s strategic planning process.She was also acknowledge for providing the vision and collaborative environment that enabled and assisted IFMA’s Board of Directors to see, think, and act more strategically. She will be recognized at IFMA’s World Workplace Awards of Excellence Banquet on October 9, 2009.
Ms. Shouse has been with Facility Engineering Associates, P.C. (FEA) since 2008, where she currently serves as an outstanding Senior Facility Management Consultant.Her expertise is in facility management including sustainability, capital planning and budgeting, operations and maintenance, quality development, sourcing and contract governance of outsourced partner, and program/process standardization.She currently serves on the Global FM Board of Directors, and as an adjunct professor at KansasUniversity.She has also developed several IFMA courses over the past ten years.
