PAISLEY, UK — The public restroom facilities at the Paisley Shopping Centre
have once again received a five-star rating from the Loo of the Year awards
, according to the Paisley Daily Express
According to the story, the restrooms at Paisley Centre were refurbished five years ago, and the five-person cleaning staff was excited to also receive a gold award by Tidy Business Standards
for its cleanliness.
Cleaning team Supervisor Kate Morrison said: "The judges came out to visit us in October and now we have found out that we have received a five-star rating again. We have very high standards here and all the girls take a pride in their work. We''ve got a great team."
In addition to strict standards for cleaning, the staff also uses unorthodox cleaning methods — like using fizzing candy to give the bathrooms a fruity aroma and Buckfast tonic wine to remove graffiti, the story added.
