PEORIA, AZ — ServPro of Northwest Phoenix/Anthem sponsored a March of Dimes Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, June 24, according to the Peoria Times.
The fundraiser attracted 84 golfers, who braved triple digit temperatures, to The Legend at Arrowhead golf course, the article stated.
According to the article, the tournament raised $7,000 for the Phoenix chapter of March of Dimes.
"We are very happy with the participation and the amount of money we raised given the extreme heat and the condition of our local economy," said Bill Keswick.
"It was nearly 110 degrees when we completed the round, but everyone seemed to be in good spirits knowing that we raised a lot of money for a very worthy cause," Keswick added.
