Seal of Approval begins 2012 with new products

DALTON, GA — The Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) Seal of Approval (SOA) testing and certification program for carpet cleaning products and equipment has grown steadily in recent weeks, according to a press release.

With the addition of 12 new vacuums, nine solutions and two extractors, the list of SOA-approved products and equipment now totals 828, the release stated.

According to the release, a newcomer to SOA Solutions, Zep Inc. of Atlanta, Georgia, has achieved the Seal of Approval for its in-tank solution Zep Safe 2 Dose carpet extractor cleaner.

Misco Products Corporation of Reading, Pennsylvania; The Triple S Company of Billerica, Massachusetts; and Rochester Midland Corporation of Rochester, North Carolina, have all earned SOA for multiple solutions, the release noted.

Each of their products has passed a series of stringent tests performed by an independent laboratory in order to make the list of cleaning solutions, the release added.
