SCRANTON, PA — The Scranton School Board announced at their board meeting that a bedbug issue at West Scranton High School was being addressed this weekend, according to the Times Leader.
Two classrooms were disrupted and closed off after a teacher discovered what they believed was a bedbug on October 29, with a suspected second bug found on November 1; only one was confirmed to be a bedbug, the article stated.
"We absolutely are not hiding anything. If we found that the building was infested, those students would be out of there. We absolutely have no intention of putting any of our students in harm''s way," said Superintendent William King.
