ATLANTA — Clayton County schools are expecting to shell out nearly $240,000 to rid the Unidos Dual Language Charter School of a mold infestation, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Six weeks ago, crews working on a renovation and sound-proofing project found mold growing in the ceiling of the school, the article stated.
According to the article, officials walled of sections of the building, forcing nearly 100 students to be relocated into portable trailers.
Remediation on the school will begin once the board approves the emergency action plan.
