School janitor facing drug charges

NEW BEDFORD, MA — A School Department janitor is charged with allegedly stealing supplies from an elementary school and dealing cocaine out of his home, according to the Boston Herald.
Jacob Pequita, 28, is charged with trafficking cocaine, trafficking cocaine in a school zone and stealing school supplies, the article noted.
Detectives said while conducting surveillance of Pequita they saw him place a trash bag in the back of his vehicle as he was leaving work.
Police later stopped the vehicle and found the bag contained toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags, the article stated.
