In 2010, we continue that effort with an exclusive partnership with the International Custodial Advisors Network Inc. (ICAN).

The new, monthly departmental feature is titled "Consultant''s Corner" and will be authored by various experts throughout the year.

In this month''s feature, an ICAN expert addresses the age-old issue of productivity, which starts on page 12.

Often, ICAN members are asked questions about productivity rates and industry norms.

Why so many inquiries?

"Productivity rates drive costs and pricing for the various jobs encountered," states this month''s author, Lynn Krafft.

In coming months, ICAN features will address such hot button topics as infection control, hard floor care, supply chain relations, sustainability and much more.
