CAMBRIDGE, IL — Dick Borg looks back on the 35 years he spent as a custodian at Cambridge Elementary School, according to the Cambridge Chronicle.

Despite being the type of job that won''t "get you rich," Borg has thoroughly enjoyed his time at Cambridge, citing the opportunity to make a difference in education as one of the things he has enjoyed most about his job, the article stated.

According to the article, custodial work has changed over the course of his career, with expanding technology making cleaning products better and easier to use.

Borg also says that while manual labor is still a part of the job, many new rules and regulations have put more emphasis on control and prevention of diseases, germs, etc., the article noted.

Despite retiring, Borg plans on finding a part-time job so he can stay active, the article added.
