— The 2010 Insights: The Property Restoration Industry Conference and Trade Show was the most successful conference to date, with record attendance and a number of high-profile speakers, according to a press release.
According to the release, the conference — held at the Hyatt Regency in
Miami from January 17-20 — included a variety of seminars and presentations, including an advanced drying seminar led by Ken Larsen, director of the Restoration Leadership Institute, and a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certified class titled "Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting" taught by Michael Pinto of WonderMakers.
Dan Cassara, national conference director for Insights, said: "Insights 2010 was undoubtedly the most successful and highly attended show to date."
The keynote speaker for the conference was Simon Bailey, presenting "Igniting Brilliance in Times of Change," the release stated.
Preparations are already under way for Insights 2011 — taking place in at the Manchester Grand Hyatt — with an expected attendance of over 750 restoration professionals and featuring 126 exhibits, the release added. San Diego
