RAPID CITY, SD — It''s still unclear how a former janitor for the Wall School District entered the building where he allegedly killed himself early Wednesday, according to the Rapid City Journal.
Wall school Superintendent Dennis Rieckman said Thursday that the Pennington County Sheriff''s Office is continuing to look into how Hauk got into the building, the article noted.
"We''re not sure, at this point, if he had a duplicate key or not. There was no real sign of forced entry," said Lt. Marty Graves.
According to the article, the 58-year-old Hauk turned in his keys and a key card when he resigned on Tuesday; Hauk had been employed at the school district since 2007.
