According to the release, Pro Clean is now one of only 11 organizations nationally that have achieved the certification that applies to the management, operations, performance systems and delivery of environmentally preferable green cleaning services.
Don Zerivitz, Pro Clean president said: "We wanted to be one of the first companies in the Southeast to become CIMS-GB-certified. When national organizations like State Farm and the U.S. Army won''t even consider you without it, we knew that CIMS-GB was here to stay and that we needed certification. Plus, with the growth of [Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design] LEED-certified buildings, we wanted a nationally recognized certification of true green cleaning processes."
Onsite reviews of Pro Clean''s systems, processes and documentation were performed by an independent, accredited assessor — who also visited and interviewed Pro Clean customers to check for consistency — as part of the certification process, the release stated.
Pro Clean provides janitorial and building maintenance services to more than 150 buildings and has more than 350 employees, the release added.
