UltraViolet Devices hires senior engineer

VALENCIA, CA — UltraViolet Devices Inc. recently announced that Ashish Mathur has been hired as senior molecular filtration applications engineer, according to a press release.
Mathur, who brings over 22 years'' experience to UltraViolet Devices, will utilize his extensive filtration expertise to develop and commercialize advanced filtration products and processes for the company and its Sparks Technology brand, the release stated.
Mathur, who officially began his leadership role last week, previously held the position of vice president of research and technology for Ahlstrom Filtration, the release noted.
Richard Hayes, vice president of sales and marketing for UltraViolet Devices, said: "Having a person of Mathur''s caliber join our team is great news for our customers and complements UltraViolet Devices'' strengths in molecular and particulate filtration. Mathur will be involved with research and testing as well as providing technical support for customers of UV products for air, surface and water disinfection, the release added.
